Creamy Chicken with Mushrooms
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs.. margarine or butter
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1 lb.)
- 1 1/2 C. sliced mushrooms (about 4 oz)
- 1 small onion, sliced and separated into rings
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can Campbell's condensed Cream of Mushroom soup
- 1/2 C. milk
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 4 C. hot cooked egg noodles
Directions
In large skillet, over medium-high heat, melt 1 Tbs. margarine. Cook chicken 10 minutes, browning both sides. Remove; set aside. Reduce heat to medium. In same skillet, in remaining 1 Tbs. margarine, cook mushrooms and onion with garlic powder until tender and liquid is evaporated, stirring often. Add soup, milk, and pepper. Bring to boil.
