Creamy Clam Dip
Ingredients
- 2 8-oz. pkgs. cream cheese
- 8 oz. sour cream (this can be substituted with more cream cheese if desired)
- 1 can minced clams in juice
- 3 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 Tbs. chives, chopped (optional)
Directions
In a medium-sized glass bowl, soften the cream cheese with a fork. If using sour cream, add that to cream cheese. Add the clams without the juice and mix clams into cheese. Add the clam juice a little at a time until the desired consistency. Add Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and chives. Mix well. Taste dip. Add more Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice a little at a time if desired. Mix well. Chill about an hour in refrigerator.
