Creamy Crab Dip

This is a great dip to serve at any party because it doesn't require an oven! Seafood lovers will delight in this delicious dip!

Ingredients

  • 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 C. sweet red pepper, chopped
  • 2 Tbs. fresh parsley, minced
  • 2 Tbs. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbs. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper, or to taste
  • 2 6-oz. cans crabmeat, drained, flaked and cartilage removed
  • 2 Tbs. capers, drained
  • Dash hot pepper sauce
  • Crackers

Directions

In a 1 1/2 quart slow cooker, combine cream cheese, green onions, red pepper, parley, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.  Stir in crab.  Cover and cook on low for 1 1/2 hours.  Stir in capers and hot sauce; cook 30 minutes longer or until heated through.  Serve with crackers.
