  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 C. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 C. sweet marsala cooking wine
  • ½ C. water
  • ¼ C. cornstarch
  • Parsley, chopped

Grease the crockpot with a nonstick spray. Season your chicken with the salt and pepper. Top off the chicken with the garlic, sweet marsala wine, and mushrooms. Let it cook for 5 to 6 hours on a low setting. Transfer the chicken on a plate when it is done. In a bowl mix together water and cornstarch. Pour this mixture into the crockpot and mix everything together. Place the chicken back into the crockpot and set the heat to high. Let it cook for another 30 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Add salt and pepper if needed. When ready to serve sprinkle each serving with parsley. If preferred, the chicken can be cubed and placed on a toasted bun or served with your pasta of choice.
