  • 12oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2½ cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

In a medium skillet, heat the oil and add the mushrooms. Cook until browned and all excess water has been released. Cook the pasta according to the box for al dente, drain and set aside. Add the butter, garlic and milk into the crockpot. Add yeast, salt and lemon juice and cook for 2 hours. Add the mushrooms and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes. Serve over pasta.
