Ingredients

  • 8oz split peas
  • 16oz frozen peas
  • 3 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 cup half & half
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 5 cups hot water

Directions

In a food processor, process the frozen peas, carrots, celery, ½ the onion and half & half. Add the split peas and then top with the rest of the ingredients. Cook on high for 4 hours, mix well and serve.
