If you're looking for a new dessert to try out, this is one you don't see very often. Take a pre-made pie crust and mix together ingredients to make creamy and delicious pavlova. You can even store this in your freezer and serve it weeks later.

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 2 peaches, peeled, sliced
  • 4 egg whites, room temperature
  • 1 C granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbs. corn starch
  • 1 tsp. white vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 C whipping cream, whipped to soft peaks

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F.

Line pie crust with sliced peaches on the bottom.

In a bowl, add egg whites and beat with an electric mixer. When they are light and fluffy, add in sugar, beating constantly.

Add the corn starch, vinegar and vanilla and mix it in very slowly.

Pour the mixture into the pie crust and form it into a circle with a spatula.

Bake for 50 to 55 minutes.

Take the pan out of the oven and allow the pavlova to cool on the pan. Serve.
