This tasty restaurant copycat is simple to make and has a super creamy texture. The mushroom sauce is a perfect compliment to a tender chicken breast.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 6 T. olive oil
  • 8 oz. baby bella mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 C. white wine
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 C. beef broth
  • 2 T. cornstarch (dissolved in 2 T. water)
  • 1 T. butter

Lightly season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook in a hot skillet with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Cook them until they are browned, 4 minutes per side. Transfer the cooked chicken into a baking dish. In the chicken skillet, add 2 more tablespoons of olive oil, and heat along with the mushrooms, for 2 minutes. Add the wine, garlic, broth dissolved cornstarch, and butter, then bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer, and cook for 20 minutes. Place the chicken in an oven on broil for a few minutes just to heat it back up, then serve with the mushrooms sauce.
