Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In frying pan, brown ground beef; drain. Stir in Ragu sauce and mushrooms; simmer while preparing crust. Separate crescent dough into 2 long rectangles. Place in ungreased 13x9-inch pan; press over bottom and 1/2-inch up sides to form crust. Seal perforations. Spread meat mixture over dough. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until crust is brown. Then top with cheese and bake until cheese melts. Cut into squares to serve.

  • Ok, this recipe is written all wrong. For one thing, it's not pizza pockets at all, if you actually follow the directions. I made it last night, and here's the modifications I had to make: I only used 1/2 the jar of sauce or it would've been too soupy; it would not fit in that large of a pan- I used an 8x8 and pushed the dough up to the top edge and it was perfect; I used fresh mushrooms instead of canned & just added them when browning the beef (less sodium). It was yummy, but kinda greasy
