  • 1 lb. chicken breasts
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of buttermilk
  • vegetable or peanut oil
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 large leaf lettuce
  • ranch dressing
  • flour tortillas
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons seasoning salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

Fill skillet with frying oil until half way full. Preheat to around medium heat.

Fill one shallow dish with flour, 1 teaspoon seasoning salt, pepper and garlic powder and another shallow dish with eggs, milk and remaining 1/4 teaspoon seasoning salt. Mix both.

Slice chicken breasts into thin strips. Place chicken into flour mixture and make sure to coat well. Remove from flour, shaking off any excess and coat in egg. Place back into the flour for a second coat. Shake off any excess flour and place into hot oil to fry. Fry chicken until golden in color which is about 4-5 minutes. Place onto paper towels to drain excess oil.

Place chicken pieces onto a tortilla along with lettuce, tomato and ranch dressing.
