  • 2 lbs. Chicken wings, no tips
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. fresh black pepper
  • Sauce
  • 2 tsp. ginger
  • ½ C. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ¼ C. red wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbs. melted butter
  • ¼ C. green onion, sliced

Thoroughly dry the chicken wings by patting them with paper towels. Let them continue to dry in the fridge for about 2 hours. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Once you remove them, dry away any excess water with a paper towel. In a pan, whisk together the sauce ingredients and let them simmer on the stove for about 10 minutes on low, stirring occasionally. Toss the wings in the olive oil and sprinkle them with the salt and pepper. Place them on a baking sheet and put them in the oven. Bake the chicken for 15 minutes and flip over, then continue to bake for an additional 15 minutes until they’re a nice golden brown color. Toss them in the sauce and top with leftover sliced green onions.
