  • 8 Fuji or Honeycrisp apples
  • 1 stick butter, divided
  • 2/3 C. brown sugar, divided
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon, divided
  • ½ C. flour
  • ¼ C. oats
  • ¼ C. sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, 1/3 cup of brown sugar, salt, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon. Press in ½ stick of butter that is chilled and sliced into pieces; combine until mixture is crumbly. Set bowl aside. Peel, core, and cube 4 apples; sauté with remaining butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Chop the tops off of your remaining apples and scrape away the insides. Spoon filling into apples and top with crumble. Place stuffed apples onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
