Ingredients

  • 3-4 lb. beef roast
  • 1 envelope Dry Onion soup mix
  • 1/2 C. water
  • 1 can of coke
  • 1/2 Tbs. of ketchup
  • 4-6 medium potatoes peeled and cut up
  • 1 lb. of carrots peeled and cut up
  • 1 C. of diced celery

Spray the inside of the crockpot with a nonstick spray.  Place roast in the pot, sprinkle with dry onion soup mix and add water. Other spices can be added according to taste preferences. Cover and cook the roast on low for 3 hours. Add coke to crockpot after three hours and continue cooking on low. After five hours, add ketchup, potatoes, carrots and celery. Continue cooking on low for 8-10 hours.
