  • Topping:
  • 2 1/2 C. flour
  • 1 1/3 C. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 C. butter, melted
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Cake:
  • 1/2 C. butter, softened
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 C. sour cream
  • 2 C. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder

Make the topping by putting the flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl and mixing. Add the melted butter and vanilla and form a crumb mixture. Set aside. Make the cake by creaming the sugar and butter with a hand mixer. Add the eggs, vanilla, and sour cream while mixing. Pour in the rest of the ingredients and mix until combined. Add the cake batter to your crockpot dish and sprinkle the crumbs on top. Cook on high for 1 hour 30 minutes. When a toothpick comes out of the cake clean, it is ready to serve. Garnish with whipped cream or your choice of toppings.
