Ingredients

  • 2 cans tomatoes, crushed
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 med. yellow onion
  • 1/2 Tbs. garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbs. dried basil
  • 1 Tbs. brown sugar
  • 1/2 Tbs. dried oregano
  • 1 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • salt
  • pepper

  1. Dice the onion and mince the garlic and place in the crockpot.

  2. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, bay leaves, basil, oregano, and pepper. Stir.

  3. Cook on low for 8 hours.

  4. Remove the bay leaves and season with salt before serving.
