These crockpot mashed potatoes will be great side dish to any delicious meal. With the spinach and the salmon this dish will be amazing.

2-3 servings


  • 3/4 lb. peeled, cubed red potatoes
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 qts. water
  • 1/8 C. milk
  • 3 tbsp sour cream
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • 1/2 bag of frozen spinach, thawed
  • 1-2 grilled salmon steak, grilled/cooked

In a crockpot place the peeled potatoes and cook on high.  Let them sit in the crockpot for about 2 hours or until tender and soft.  Then mash them while still in the crockpot.  Add the butter, sour cream, milk and salt and pepper.  Stir and mix.  Now add the thawed spinach to the crockpot. Let the spinach and potatoes sit for about 1 hour or until the spinach is tender.  Lastly, place your grilled salmon on top of the potatoes and spinach.  Lightly salt and pepper everything.  Let everything sit in the crockpot for 15 minutes so the flavors can mingle together.  Be sure to continuously stir the potatoes and spinach as you cook everything.  Take everything out of the crockpot and place on a plate.  Enjoy.
