Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 4 lb. chicken pieces (I prefer all boneless skinless chicken breasts)
  • 1 med red onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 sm. cans Mexican red sauce (should be a deep red)
  • 1 C. chicken broth
  • 3 Tbs. chili powder (use half paprika and half chili powder if you don't like spice)
  • 2 Tbs. peanut butter (smooth)
  • 3 Tbs. cocoa, unsweetened
  • cilantro, for garnish

Directions

Place everything except the cilantro in the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Garnish with cilantro as desired.
