This simple dessert is made with pineapples, yellow cake and a brown sugar mixture Cooked to a gooey perfection, flipped and ready to enjoy. This recipe is perfect for overnight cooking or even early day cooking for dessert later on at night.

  • 1 C. brown sugar packed
  • ΒΌ C. melted butter
  • 1 20oz. can crushed pineapples in juice
  • 1 box yellow cake mix and needed ingredients to make cake.

Coat a 6-quart crockpot with cooking spray. In small bowl mix brown sugar and melted butter then spread evenly in bottom of slow cooker. Then place the crushed pineapples on top of brown sugar mixture, spread evenly in crockpot. Pour a cup of water into can to stretch the juice. Make cake batter as directed on box, and sub the juice mixture for the water. Pour batter over pineapple and sugar mixture.

Cook on High heat setting 2 to 3 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Turn off slow cooker and uncover. Remove ceramic base from cooker to cooling. Let cool 15 minutes. Place heatproof serving plate face down onto ceramic base; carefully turn plate and ceramic base over. Remove ceramic base. Cut and serve.
