Ingredients

  • 1 Lg. Vidalia onion sliced thin
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped fine
  • 1 C. chicken broth
  • 3 T. dark brown sugar
  • 1 T. chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp. ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 ½ lb. your favorite pork cut
  • 2 ½ C. your choice of barbecue sauce

Place onions and garlic at the bottom of the crockpot, then pour the chicken broth over the diced vegetables. Combine the remaining seasonings together in a bowl and set aside. Rinse and pat dry the pork and rub seasoning all over. Make sure to evenly coat both sides of the meat and place in the crockpot, cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Serve warm with your favorite toppings and sides.
