Crockpot Sweet and Sour Pork

Soy sauce, cider vinegar, ginger and brown sugar make up this delicious Asian-inspired dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean pork tenderloin, or other cut of pork, cubed
  • 3 Tbs. soy sauce or teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 C. cider vinegar
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, cut in slices or chunks
  • 2 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 C. packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 green bell peppers, cut into strips

Directions

In crockpot mix pork with cornstarch. Then mix in remaining ingredients except green pepper and tomatoes. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Stir in green pepper and tomatoes. Cook on high for 10 minutes. Serve over rice.

  • Maddi, this is Recipe4living. It's not dlife or some other diabetes website. I have diabetes & a bad heart condition, you're asking too much of this site. As for the not print thing with the other 2 people, I had no problem. I just printed this recipe. All I did was to click on the printer button, it showed the recipe in the window, my print window came up & I clicked "print". Don't know what else to tell you all. But, after 12 years in the restaurant business the ONLY thing I

  • Where are the nutritional values for these recipes? If this is a Recipe4Living...you should have the nutritional values! I joined because I have diabetes and numerous digestive disease (Chronic Pancreatis, Crohn's Disease, Liver disease (all autoimmune). In order to prepare a recipe, I need to know the nutritional values! So I spent a lot of time joining here, only to find that I can't use these recipes! Arrggghhhh!
