Ingredients
- 1/2 C. butter or margarine
- 1 1/4 C. all purpose flour
- 1 C. granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1/2 C. buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Directions
Blend together first four ingredients with a pastry blender. Reserve 1 C. of this crumb mixture. To remaining crumb mixture, add last four ingredients. Place 1/2 C. reserved crumbs in bottom of an 8 inch pan; pour on batter and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 C. crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
