Crunchy Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars

- 2 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 C creamy peanut butter
- 1 C crispy rice cereal
- 1 1/2 C creamy peanut butter
- 1 Tbs. unsalted butter
Line a baking pan with aluminum foil.
In a bowl, heat semi-sweet chocolate chips for one minute to soften. Remove bowl from microwave. Add one cup peanut butter and heat again for about one minute or as necessary. Stir until smooth and well combined. Add rice cereal and stir to combine.
Pour mixture in baking pan and chill in freezer.
In another bowl, put 1 1/2 cups peanut butter and butter and melt in microwave for about one minute. Stir until mixture is smooth and combined.
Remove pan from freezer and coat with peanut butter mixture. Place pan in freezer to chill for about 60 to 90 minutes, or until set.
Cut into 1 1/2- to 2-inch squares and serve.
