  • 2 C. buttermilk
  • 4 lb. chicken wings, split and tips removed
  • 3 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 C. crackers, crushed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • Oil for frying

In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and buttermilk. Add in chicken wings, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour. In a separate bowl, combine flour, crushed crackers, salt, pepper, cayenne, and garlic powder. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan until it is shimmering. Take chicken wings from marinade, coat in seasoned mixture, and fry until no longer pink inside, about 10 minutes.
