Crunchy Peanut Butter
Ingredients
- 4 C. unsalted dry-roasted peanuts
- 1/4 C. peanut oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper (optional)
- 1/8 tsp. freshly ground cloves (optional)
Directions
In a food processor or blender (using the chopping blade,) process 3 C. peanuts along with the peanut oil and salt, until smooth. Add black pepper and/or cloves for spicier flavor. For creamier peanut butter, add all 4 C. peanuts at once.
For crunchier, add the remaining 1 C. peanuts after other ingredients have been processed, and process until they are finely chopped. Will keep well for 2 months, if tightly covered in refrigerator.
