Crunchy Tilapia Fillets

This tilapia dish has a great texture and a fabulous flavor! To make fish sticks, cut fillets into smaller strips. This dish is great with mac n' cheese. This is way better than frozen!

Ingredients

  • 4-6 Tilapia fillets
  • 1 pkg. pork flavor oven fry (can be found in baking section)
  • 3/4 C. crushed French Fried onions
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 C. water
  • Tartar sauce:
  • 4-5 chopped sweet pickles
  • 1/4-1/3 C. mayonnaise

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a shallow dish, beat egg and water. In a separate shallow dish, mix together pork flavoring and crushed onions. Dip tilapia fillets in egg wash, then put in crumb mixture (be sure to smash lightly and coat well). Turn onto foil-lined baking pan. Bake about 30-35 minutes.
