These simple toffee bars are addicting! You won’t be able to put the melty and crunchy combination down. It’s all you could ask for from a chocolatey dessert; gooey caramel, a buttery crunch, and it melts in your mouth!

  • 1 (13.7 oz.) pkg. butter crackers
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ C. butter
  • ½ C. milk
  • 2 C. chocolate chips
  • 1 C. brown sugar, packed

Line the bottom of a baking dish with a layer of crackers. In a saucepan, combine the milk, butter, condensed milk, and sugar. Bring it to a boil and stir frequently for 5 minutes. Pour a layer of the mixture over the crackers and repeat to create three layers. Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds in intervals. Pour the melted chocolate over the caramel and coat it. Refrigerate the dessert for an hour and serve.
