  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 tablespoons chopped salted peanuts
  • 2 cups thawed whipped topping
  • 2 packages vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 squares dark chocolate
  • Chocolate frosting

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a bowl, mix the crumbled vanilla wafers and melted butter and then press the crumbs into the bottom of a pie plate. Bake for 6 minutes. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave the dark chocolate and peanut butter for 1 minute and stir. Continue to microwave the mixture until the chocolate is melted and mixed well with the peanut butter. Cut the bananas in half lengthwise and then crosswise into quarters. Place the banana slices in the pie plate and pour the melted chocolate over the bananas. Next, beat the pudding mixture with the milk and whisk for 2 minutes. Add half the whipped topping and stir. Spread this over the chocolate covered bananas and top with the rest of the whipped topping. Chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Top with chocolate frosting and peanuts and serve.
