  • Fries:
  • 1-1/2 to 2 lbs. steak fries, frozen
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 C. Parmesan, grated
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • Garlic Sauce:
  • 2 Tbs. mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne
  • 1/2 C. fresh parsley, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 C. fresh dill, coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 C. olive oil

To prepare the Garlic Sauce: add the mayo, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne, and herbs to a blender or food processor. Pulse until well incorporated. Slowly add in the oil to emulsify. Set aside.

Preheat a barbecue or indoor grill to high.

To prepare the fries: toss them in a large bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place the steak fries in a grill basket (if using a barbecue grill) and grill for 12-15 minutes, tossing frequently until nicely colored.

Remove the fries from the grill basket and place in a large bowl. Toss with the sauce and sprinkle with the Parmesan and paprika. Transfer to a platter and serve immediately.
