Deep Dish Plum Pie

This deep dish plum pie recipe is one of my favorites to bake. So FAST and EASY, and the taste is wonderful.

  • 4 C. diced plums (5-8 depending on size)
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1/4 C. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbs. butter
  • 1 pie pastry (your own or store-bought)
  • 1 pie dish

Place diced plums in pie dish. In separate bowl, combine sugar flour and salt. Sprinkle over plums. Dot with pieces of butter, cut up. Lightly moisten edges of dish with water. Place pie crust over top, seal and prick.Bake for 30-35 minutes in a 350-degree oven.
