  • 1 pkg. lemon cake mix
  • 1/2 C. butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • Filling:
  • 1 (16-oz.) can lemon frosting
  • 1 (8-oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs

Preheat oven at 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, butter and egg. Press mix on bottom of 13-by-9-inch pan. In another bow, beat frosting and cream cheese until smooth. Set aside 1/2 C. topping. Add eggs to remaining mixture and combine well. Spread over crust. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until filling is set. Chill in fridge and then cut into bars before serving.
