Running out of ideas on how to use up that pack of ham you have in the refrigerator? Use that ham to create something delightful with this ham and Swiss stromboli recipe. Enjoy a thin crust stuffed with Swiss cheese and ham, dipped in tomato sauce.

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 6 oz. deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1 1/2 C. Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 jar tomato sauce

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice bread into individual rectangular pockets. Place the pieces of opened bread on a greased baking sheet. Place ham on top of one slice of bread and sprinkle onions and cheese on top. Close each pocket when done.
With a knife, cut several slits on top of each rectangle. Bake for 25 minutes or until the bread has turned golden brown. Serve warm with tomato sauce to dip in.
