Diabetic-Friendly Broccoli with Lemon Sauce
Serving Size / Yield
- 1 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli
- 2 Tbs. reduced-fat margarine
- 2 Tbs. lemon juice
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- Place broccoli in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes until broccoli is tender.
- In a small skillet, melt the margarine and then add lemon juice.
- Drizzle lemon butter over broccoli and serve with lemon wedges.
