Double Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownies (Low Fat)
- 1/2 C. unsweetened applesauce
- 1 1/2 C. flour
- 1/3-1/2 C. baking cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 2 egg whites
- 1 1/2 C. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 C. mini semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350. In a large bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Add the sugar, applesauce, and vanilla extract, and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Then combine the flour, cocoa, and salt and add the flour mixture and chocolate chips to the egg mixture. Stir it just until the dry ingredients are moistened. Pour the batter into an 11x7 baking dish coated with nonstick spray. Bake 30 minutes. Cool in the pan on a rack. Enjoy!
