  • 2 egg whites
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ¾ C. unsweetened applesauce
  • ¾ C. vanilla yogurt
  • ¼ C. honey
  • ½ C granulated sugar
  • ½ C. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ C. chocolate chips
  • ½ C. all-purpose flour
  • ½ C. whole-wheat flour
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Grease a 12 C. muffin tin with a non-stick cooking spray. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients. In another bowl, mix the remaining ingredients. Combine both mixtures. Pour mixture into the prepared muffin tins. Bake for 15 minutes. Let them cool and sprinkle powdered sugar over the top, if desired. Serve and enjoy!
