  • 12 Slices White Bread
  • ¾ C Mayonnaise
  • 8 Leaves Romaine Lettuce, cut in half crosswise
  • 8 Slices Tomato, or more to taste
  • Kosher Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 16 Slices Cooked Bacon, crispy
  • 16oz Roasted Turkey, sliced

Begin by this recipe for double decker club sandwiches by lightly toasting your bread slices in your toaster. Once all of your bread is toasted, arrange three bread slices in a row. Begin assembling your sandwiches.

Spread about one tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice. Top with the lettuce on the first bread slice followed by the tomato. Season with salt and pepper to your taste. Set two slices of bacon on top of the tomatoes followed by about 1/8 of the turkey. Season with salt and pepper. Repeat these steps with the second bread slice. Transfer the second layered bread slice on top of the first layer with the turkey side up. Top with the third bread slice. Put a toothpick or the like in the center of the sandwich to hold all the layers together.

Repeat these steps with your remaining bread slices and enjoy!
