  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • ¼ C. parsley
  • 8 oz. American cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 8 slices of American cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Optional Toppings
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Pickles
  • Condiments

In a medium mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper and parsley. Add additional seasonings if desired. Form 8 equal-sized balls. Press cube of cheese into the middle of each ball. Make sure the cheese is completely covered. Begin shaping into patties about ½ inch thick. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired temperature.
Place a slice of cheese on each patty. Place two patties on a bottom bun and add desired toppings and condiments. Place the other bun on top and serve.
