Easiest Crab Cakes

Herb garlic mashed potatoes and breadcrumbs are a shortcut to tasty crab cakes.

Ingredients

1 pkg. herb garlic mashed potatoes
1 (15 oz.) pkg. crab eat
2 medium onions
1/4 lb. American cheese, chopped
1 tsp. black pepper
Salt, to taste
1/2 C. seasoned breadcrumbs

Directions

First make mashed potatoes as directed, using a little less milk if you want the potatoes firm. slice onions and cook in greased skillet until translucent. Add onions, American cheese, crab meat, and black pepper to the mashed potatoes. Mix well in a 9-in casserole container. Coat top with the breadcrumbs and bake in 350 degree oven for half an hour. Remove and enjoy the easiest crab cakes ever.
