Easy Apple Dumplings
Ingredients
- 3-4 apples
- 1 can biscuits
- 1 1/2 C. sugar
- 1 C. water
- 1 stick Oleo or butter
- 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Directions
Cut the cored and peeled apples into 20 slices. Cook for 1 minute in microwave or oven until tender. Roll out the biscuits and cut each in half. Place one slice of apple on each and roll up. Arrange in a baking dish.
Heat in a sauce pan: the sugar, water and oleo (and cinnamon if using) and bring to a boil. Pour over the biscuits and bake in 350-degree oven for about 30 minutes.
