Fall is here! Fall is here! It’s the wonderful time of here! If you’re wondering how to get rid of your extra biscuit dough, this apple pear cobbler recipe is for you. All you need is granny smith apples, pears and your leftover dough and you’re good to go.

  • 2 cups of granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cups of firm-ripe pears, peeled and sliced
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 8 oz. of leftover crescent roll or biscuit dough
  • Topping:
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter

Preheat the oven at 375F.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples and pears, sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Separate the crescent dough or biscuit dough into 4 triangles. Press the 2 triangles over bottom of the ungreased 8 inch baking dish. Spread the apple and pear mixture over the dough. With the remaining triangles, place them over the mixture and gently stretch to cover.
In a small mixing bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the dough. Drizzle the cobbler with the melted butter. Bake the cobbler for 35 minutes.
When the cobbler is baked nicely, let it cool for 15 minutes.
