  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts
  • 6 sliced apples
  • 3/4 C. Sugar
  • 2 T. flour
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 T. lemon juice

In a large bowl, mix together the apples, sugar, flour, salt, nutmeg, and lemon juice, making sure the apples slices are coated well. Prepare the pie crust by pressing one into a 9-in pie pan. Spoon the apple mixture into the crust evenly, then top with the other pie crust. Press the edges together, pressing into shapes or pressing down with a fork along the edge. Cut a few slits into the top of the crust. In an oven heated to 425 degrees, bake for 40 minutes until golden.
