Substitute greasy fried chicken with these healthier baked chicken strips for a side to your next meal. Also works great as an after-school snack!

  • 1 C. egg substitute
  • 1 Tbs. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbs. pepper
  • 2 tsp. sea salt
  • 3 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 C. almonds, ground
  • 4 Tbs. flaxseed, ground
  • 1/4 C. oat bran cereal
  • 1/2 C. wheat germ

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut the chicken into strips and soak them in the egg substitute for about 15 minutes. Mix and shake with the dry ingredients in a sealable plastic bag to coat. Place them on a grased cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
