Easy Beef Brisket

Leftovers from this delicious slow-cooked beef make really good sandwiches.

  • 1 2 to 4 lb. beef brisket
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 bottle chili sauce
  • 1 can, 12 oz. regular no diet Dr. Pepper
  • 2 cups water

Line crock pot with a crock pot liner for easy clean up. Cut beef brisket in half and place in crock pot. In a bowl, mix together the onion soup mix, chili sauce, Dr. Pepper and water. Pour mixture over brisket. Place lid on and place temperature on high. Cook about six hours or until the meat is really tender. Serve hot with your favorite vegetables.
