Directions

On a flat surface, slice the beef ¼ inch thin. Be sure to remove the fat.
In a large mixing bowl, add the sliced beef and the ingredients to marinate. Mix well and set it aside.
While the beef is marinating, combine all the ingredients to make the brown sauce in a separate mixing bowl. Whisk the sauce nicely and set it aside.
On a flat surface, cut the dry bottom of the broccoli and cut into halves and bite sizes. Mince the garlic and fresh ginger. Chop the green onion and the rest of the vegetable aside.
In a large pot, boil the 1 cup of water in high heat. Add the broccoli and bring to a boil until it is fork tender. Once the broccoli is fork tender, remove from the heat and drain the broccoli.
Using a wok, drizzle a little bit oil (any oil of preference) over high heat. Add the garlic and ginger and stir fry for about 30 seconds or until you can smell the aroma. Slowly transfer the marinated beef into the wok. Continue to stir the beef until it is medium well done.
Pour the sauce into the beef and stir fry for 1 minute or until the sauce appears thick and glossy. Once the beef is fully coated with the brown sauce, add the broccoli and stir well for 30 seconds.
Remove the beef from the heat and add the chopped green onion and sesame oil. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish the dish with sesame seeds.
Enjoy!
