Easy Breezy Summer Cake

Even though this dessert is so easy, I always get recipe requests for it. This summer cake recipe is simple to make and easy to take along.

  • 1 20-oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 1 16-oz. can blueberry pie filling
  • 1 box lemon cake mix (dry)
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a 9x12-inch greased pan, layer the pineapple and blueberry pie filling. Sprinkle with dry cake mix, and pour butter on top. Bake until done, approximately 40-50 minutes.
