  • 1/4 C. flour
  • 1 C. Italian style breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 T. milk
  • 1 lb. mozzarella, cut into strips. (you can use string cheese, cut in half)
  • 1 C. vegetable oil
  • 1 C. jarred pizza sauce or marinara sauce

Heat oil in a large skillet. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Coat each strip of cheese with flour. Dip in the egg mixture and roll in breadcrumbs. Place sticks in skillet and let fry for a minute on each side. Drain on paper towels and serve with sauce for dipping.
