Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. beef roast, cubed
  • 1 lb. potatoes cubed
  • 1 lb. baby carrots
  • ½ C. flour
  • ½ tsp. thyme
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 C. beef broth
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 T. brown gravy mix
  • 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 C. water

Directions

Place the beef roast into the crockpot. In a bowl, mix the flour, pepper, and salt. Pour this mixture over the meat. Stir so every piece of meat is covered. Mix in the rest of the ingredients. Cover up the crockpot and let it cook for 10-12 hours on a low setting. After it cooks for 10-12 hours, set the crockpot to high and let it cook for another 4-6 hours.
