Easy Crockpot Potato Soup

  • 5 potatoes, cut up in pieces
  • 2 carrots, cut up in pieces
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 can canned milk
  • 3-4 Tbs. margarine
  • celery salt to taste
  • Morton's salt to taste
  • American cheese (or desired cheese, optional)

Add all ingredients (except the milk, margarine and cheeses) together in the crockpot. Let cook for 4.5 hours. Add milk, margarine and cheeses. Let cook for 30 more minutes.

  • Do you add water to veggies to cook them first? I added water to mine, about 2 cups so the veggies could cook in something. It shouldn't be too much if you are adding evaporated milk after they cook.
