  • 2 (8 oz. can) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, diced
  • 1 can rotel tomatoes
  • ½ C. cheddar cheese, shredded

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Heat a skillet on medium-high and saute the onion and garlic. Add the beef and cook it until it crumbles. Drain the beef and pour in the tomatoes. Season the meat with the taco spice. Fold in the cheese and spoon the mixture into the crescent roll dough. Split the dough into squares so that it makes 8 empanadas. Press the dough closed and bake the empanadas for 12-15 minutes.
