  • 2 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 C. packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 C. pumpkin puree
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 C. milk
  • 1/4 C. butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 C. confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 C. butter, melted
  • 2 T. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • orange food coloring

Preheat your oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, and softened butter. Use a hand mixer to form a smooth batter. Distribute evenly into a donut pan. Bake for nine minutes. Meanwhile, mix together remaining ingredients in a small saucepan to form a smooth dipping glaze. Once donuts are cool enough to touch, dip each into the glaze and transfer to the prepared baking sheet. Let the glaze harden for 10 minutes before serving.
