Easy Grilled Whitefish
Serving Size / Yield
- 2-3 lbs. skin-on whitefsh fillets
- Grapeseed, canola, or olive oil for brushing
- 3/4 C. soy sauce
- 5 minced garlic cloves
1) Combine the garlic and the soy sauce in a bowl. Cut the fish in thin 2 to 2 1/2 inch fillets. Marinate the fillets in the marinade. Afterwards, let the fillets sit (skin side up) in the marinade for 15-20 minutes.
2) Prepare the grill for high heat. Brush the fillets well with the olive or the grapeseed oil. Place the fillets skin side up so that the skinless side gets a nice grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes and then flip the fillets over. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until the fish is lightly opaque.
